Runtime: 85 Minutes

Director: Rob Sitch

Genre: Comedy, Drama

My Rating: 6/10

The Castle (Directed by Rob Sitch) is a fantastic Australian comedy about a man and his home. When the nearby airport wants to expand and tries to force him out he wont take it lying down and decides to fight it.

Darryl Kerrigan (Michael Caton) is the perfect family man. Always seeing the bright side of something and not letting anything get him down. The acting by Michael Caton as well as the rest of the cast was outstanding. It would be easy to believe that they were a real family.

The story told from the perspective of the youngest son Dale is packed full of laughs and many quotable one liners. This movie will stay with you long after the credits have finished rolling. It just has that feel good vibe.

I look forward to watching this movie again. Highly recommended.
